History is the place to revisit your previous aura conversations. Use it to search older chats, narrow them by time range, reopen important threads, and keep your conversation list clean by renaming or deleting chats you no longer need.

Open conversation history

The main History page in the app is the Neo Chat history view. It is available from the sidebar and is built for general conversation history, not for Prism document chats.

If you want to review a past chat with aura, this is the page to start from.

Search and filter past chats

The default path is simple:

1. Open History.
2. Search by title or message text.
3. Narrow the list by time range if needed.
4. Open the conversation you want to continue.

The current time filters are:

• All
• Today
• This week
• This month

These filters help when you know roughly when the conversation happened but not the exact title.

Browse grouped conversation sections

History groups conversations by recency so you can scan quickly instead of reading one long list.

Current sections include:

• Today
• Yesterday
• This week
• Older

Within each item, the page shows a short snippet, the relative activity time, and the number of messages in the thread.

Reopen a past conversation

Each history item links back to the original chat. Open a thread when you want to continue where you left off instead of starting a new conversation from scratch.

This is useful when:

• the topic is still active
• the earlier context is still relevant
• you want to continue a workflow without rebuilding the thread

Rename useful chats

History lets you rename a conversation directly from the list.

Use this when a thread becomes important enough that you want to find it later by topic instead of relying on the original default title. Renaming useful chats early makes the page easier to search over time.

Delete old chats

You can also delete conversations from the History page. This is useful when a thread is no longer useful and you want to keep the list cleaner.

Delete with care. The page treats deletion as a permanent action for that conversation.

Know the difference between History and Prism History

The main History page is for Neo Chat conversations.

Prism document chats have their own separate history view inside Prism. If you are trying to find a past document-scoped conversation, go to Prism and open the Prism history flow from there.

Use History well

History works best when you:

• search by topic, project, or person
• use the time filters to narrow the list quickly
• rename important chats while the context is still fresh
• reopen an existing thread when continuity matters more than starting over

History is for general aura conversations. Prism conversations are stored separately in Prism history.
